Critical Incident Communications caters to the individual needs of law enforcement agencies with a variety of services and knowledge bases.

Critical Incidents

In the event of a use of force, or officer involved shooting, getting the facts of the event to the public is a priority. CIC’s approach is the most efficient and effective way of reporting information with a timely turnaround and an approach based on facts. Decades of law enforcement experience ensure that the messaging remains clear and direct, as well as respectful to all of those involved in the incident.

– The process begins with a retrieval of all media files related to the incident including, body camera footage, dash cam footage, photographs, surveillance videos, as well as public recorded videos from cell phones. Relevant audio can also be transcribed in collaboration with the agency.

– Meetings with CIC will take place in order to learn about the incident, and to create a script that accurately reflects the events that took place. We will work with the agency to ensure that this account remains unbiased and based solely on the facts.

– All media will be filtered for possible redactions to ensure privacy and safety for all those involved in the incident. This can include faces, specific audio, license plates, addresses, and any other sensitive data.

– The script, and media come together in an edited video that is visually curated to complement your agency’s image and branding requirements. Our videos utilize modern tech that assists in illustrating details of the incident such as Google Earth map integration, dynamic visual and audio redactions, as well as available artificial intelligence powered voice over tracks.
